Crawl Space Conditioning
A crawl space serves as a ventilation system to allow air movement, as well as a space to run piping and electrical wiring for the home. A crawl space can even serve as valuable storage space. If a crawl space doesn’t have a barrier between your home and the earth, it can cause a multitude of problems. Moisture can become trapped, inviting pests and harboring mold. Since crawl space air is naturally drawn into the home, mold and residue from pests can be drawn in with it.
To keep moisture and pests out of your home, it’s important to properly seal and dehumidify your crawl space. When conditioning your crawl space, our team will install a poly liner and properly seal the crawl space. This creates a barrier between the ground and your home’s floor joists. We also place a free-standing dehumidifier in the crawl space to help control humidity and moisture. Our team installs Santa Fe dehumidifiers. They are energy efficient free-standing dehumidifiers that are designed and manufactured specifically for humidity control in basements, crawl spaces and other inside spaces.
